Jacob Berv began the Eric and Wendy Schmidt AI in Science Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Michigan in August 2023, supported by Schmidt Sciences and MIDAS.

The fellowship supported integration of AI methods with biodiversity data science at the University of Michigan.
